Now here's a thing, last year we had so much fun with Montessori- PIG doing the songs for us that we're going to have to do something completely different this year. I'm just not a 7-foot children magnet!
So, every first and third Wednesday PIG will be a Café des Parents - sort of old style PIG - but with us taking turns at playing games with the children, while the others get a chance to catch-up/debate or exchange old copies of Private Eye/Hello.
I'm sure this will work if we all want it to. Games are the bilingual way forward! I discovered 1000 bornes this summer - a great French board game, which is (cheesey bit here) fun for all the family. The older children are certainly able to get much out of playing these games, especially if they remember to do it in English!
To get PIG going, before the MPT gears up again, you are all very welcome to chez BIG-PIG on the first Wednesday of September - the 5th. After than it's off to the MPT.
Bring a game, a gouter and tales of the summer to share! See you on the 5th around 15h30+
