I'd like to tell everyone about Saperlipopette, which is the fabulous children's theatre and performance event held every year at the Chateau d'O (and at other locations around the Herault). Dates for Montpellier this year are May 6, 7, 13 and 14. Free programme, booking and details on 04 67 99 25 00 or walk into the Comedie Opera House on place de la Comedie. Even if you don't book into an event there's loads happening around it

We'll be wandering round Saperlipopette on both Saturday 6 and Saturday 13, so you'll probably bump into us!
Isn't it an annoyingly overcrowded mass of hysterical kids? And you can't get to see anything unless you book because of sheer numbers? I'm always loath to go because I feel it'll be a waste of time as we'll just be wandering around and not see anything because there'll be just too many people.
